North Island Adventures: Week 1–2

Auckland

South Island Marvels: Week 3–4

Christchurch

Milford Sound

Take a drive to Franz Josef Glacier from the west coast. Whether you hike to viewpoints or splurge on a helicopter tour, the glacier will amaze you.

Abel Tasman National Park

Finish your South Island adventure in the National Park (Albel Tasman). Kayak in crystal-clear waters, hike through lush forests, and relax on golden sand beaches.

Road Trip Tips

  1. Rent a reliable vehicle: Some New Zealand roads can be unpaved. Do not ride two-wheelers if it is windy.
  2. Drive on the left: It might take some getting used to if you're not from a left-hand driving country.
